Sports club services
Davies Khan is able to offer sports clubs a bespoke and professional service.
We are fortunate to be regularly instructed by such Premiership football teams as Wigan Athletic Football Club and Sunderland Association Football Club in relation to immigration matters concerning the employment of non-British football players.
Bearing in mind the commercial concerns of such sports clubs, we are able to obtain, where feasible, appointments with the UK Border Agency (UKBA) for a sportsperson’s application to be made using the UKBA’s same-day service at one of their various public offices.
In addition to the services we offer to professional sports clubs, we are also regularly instructed by professional sportspeople in relation to their own individual and family immigration and nationality matters. Such instructions have come from those employed by, for example, Wigan Athletic, Sunderland AFC, Manchester United, Swansea City and Ipswich Town.
We have also acted on behalf of owners of various football clubs, and discretion is assured.
